A little about our journey.
It Began with a Diagnosis.
At just eight years old, Austin, the founder of 86 Cold Press, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. Instead of relying solely on medication, his mother, Shirley, took an alternative approach—crafting a specialized diet to support his health naturally.
As Austin grew older, his passion for nutrition deepened. Through years of research, he discovered the profound impact modern diets have on overall well-being. He learned that when we fuel our bodies with whole, clean foods, they have the ability to heal. Among his findings, one stood out: Cold-Pressed juice is one of the most nutrient-dense ways to nourish and restore the body.
This realization sparked a journey of juicing, experimenting, and developing recipes designed to support various health benefits. What began as a personal mission soon became a business with a greater purpose—to connect with those struggling with deficiencies, offering both hope and proof that healing through nutrition is possible.
Today, 86 Cold Press stands as a testament to Austin’s belief that food is medicine, inspiring others to embrace a healthier lifestyle, one bottle at a time.

How Delivery Works & Why We Deliver.
When 86 Cold Press shut its shop doors in 2022 - it was the beginning of a new era for our company. We actively chose to bring juice to your doorstep instead, to make our product much more accessible to our community. We have been open in Wichita since 2016, when it started with our juice bike. So technically, we've been mobile since then - if you think about it!
We chose to deliver our products twice each week, on Tuesday and Friday mornings. But you may wonder, why don't we deliver every day of the week? It has to do with product freshness and the process our juice goes through to be made. Since deliveries go out on Tuesdays and Fridays - we produce all of our orders the day before, on Mondays and Thursdays. Product production can take up to 8- 12 hours in a day.
What do we mean by "Production"?
Our production process is not the same as you would expect at home with traditional juicers. We utilize precision grinders and hydraulic pressure from our press to give the specific experience that our juice offers. A few interesting facts are; our hydraulic press applies 2 tons of pressure when juicing and our yogurt goes through a 24-hour incubation process to be crafted. So needless to say, perfection takes time, as we are not fast food or a national chain.
Monday Production → Tuesday Delivery
Thursday Production → Friday Delivery
It is important to plan ahead to make a cut-off. Even if you miss our cut-off, we still encourage you to place your order, even if it is not on the day you planned, because placing an order for your wellness is better than no order at all - its all about that intention! When we deliver to you, it will be early in the morning usually between 4:30am - 8:15am. We strive to deliver to you in that timeframe so that you have your order ready to go for the day! That said, here are our order cut-offs:
11:59pm Sunday → Tuesday Delivery
11:59pm Wednesday → Friday Delivery
